Do any of you think that The Simpsons is getting crapper by the episode? I think it hit its peak around season 3,4,5. Its just getting rubbish now. Anyone agree that its not as good as it used to be?

yes..the show has been on a downward spiral. most stories revolved around homer getting into ridiculously insane situations. i liked the show when the episodes had heart and some redeeming social value. ex: when homer quits drinking,when him and bart build the soapbox derby racer etc..
yes...the lack of continuity in the series has reached "outrageous"

no. i've been watching since day one and i thought there were some amazing standout episodes in this last season. sure there were some duds too, but i'm quite happy with the ratio of hits/misses.
