so is there going to be a simpsons movie?

It really explains the lackluster quality of recent seasons. it looks like something good will come out of the worst episodes ever. That's what must be going on, yes, the simpsons don't suck, the writers and actors and such are all in haitus because of this movie. It's not that the simpsons suck, it's just them going crazy over there.

Haha.. I wouldn't put money on that theory, although it would explain a lot. There has been talk among matt groening, al jean and a few others about the movie. I don't think any serious production work will be done on such a project at for another year, and it probably wont hit the big screen until season 16 or so (that's just my guess), or until after the series ends.
