Does anyone else think that Snowball II gets WAY too little screen time? The family is always (hyberbole, yes) doing something with SLH, but Snowball gets virtually nil. How about a show that actually DOES something with him/her!

Dogs make better story subjects because the are more demonstrative emotionally -- we can see how SLH feels when Bart tells him to go away in "Dog of Death (8F17)," so we care more about what happens to him. People, rightly or wrongly, perceive cats as aloof and indifferent. It's harder to generate an involving story about a cat. Not that it can't be done, but with a show already full of interesting characters, the writers may have decided it isn't worth the trouble.

Yes, you are right. It seems they've done the same with Maggie too. Still, at least ONE episode would be nice.
