he is mentioned in krusty gets cancelled "at least we never had one bad show, except for that one with ray jay johnson", and also in mom and pop art "what about ray jay johnson?" but why? i know who is thanks to snpp but why does he always pop up

I don't even know who he is but I like him from this quote only.

He used to be a regular on the David Steinberg Show which also featured most of the SCTV cast before they did their series.
