7 p.m. - ``Futurama''
7:30 p.m. - ``Oliver Beene''
8 p.m. - ``The Simpsons''
8:30 p.m. - ``King of the Hill''
9 p.m. - ``Malcolm in the Middle''
9:30 p.m. - ``The Grubbs''

Nothing Surprising here.. Futurama was never really "Cancaled" another season was just never put into profuction because Fox has enough unaired episodes from last season to fill out a whole other season
Whats sucks is that "Futurama" still gets the sucky 7:00PM timeslot while "King of the Hill" gets the 8:30 Groaning must be pissed

That does suck...Futurama SHOULD be after The Simpsons instead of KOTH...and Fox must really love that show since they're holding on to it so long and giving it good time slots even though it gets no ratings...and they obviously hate Futurama.
KOTH is on *before* the Simpsons...

You name it! But does it mean, the Futurama production crew is out of work for a whole year? This sounds like the season after that, if it it ever gets into production, will not look anything like the Futurama we know. What's with "never change a winning team" and all that?
And what does the crew do _this_ year? I think, this calls for a number of "where are they now" threads...

Hey thanks for the compliment (the latest issue with Greek Myths seems to split people, they either love it or think it's crap, so what are you gonna do?). The problem for Futurama is now all the writers/animators etc. will find other work and it'll be hell getting that team back together again.
My personal wish is that they continue Futurama in other forms, the comic, straight to DVD movies, games, and whatever other formats come down the pike. Just keep it alive through fandom ala Star Trek.
And in twenty years they'll do Futurama: NG - with a whole new crew working for Prof. farnsworth and guest appearances by Fry, now an old coot married to Leela (kind of like the Odd Couple)... ;)
