You reckon this episode will have some sort of "Silence of the Lambs" spoof? (i.e. a killer helping catch a killer)

But I do wonder if ol' Grimesy is the person from Homer's past, and he faked his own death just to have this chance to come back and get his revenge!

If so, then the writers appear to be ripping off Ondre Lombard (or at least they have similar ideas a lot) - I remember a fanscript by him (I think it was him) involving Grimes' brother, out to take revenge on Homer by kidnapping him...it also involved Artie's $1M offer to Marge, but used instead as ransom money.

In any case, Homer would probably have not too many people on a really personal enemies list - the only people who I could imagine could hate Homer THAT much to kill him would probably be Fat Tony, or Judge Harm, or Snake. Though I could also imagine a former stockholder in Powell Motors would also like to see Homer take a dirt nap.....

Didn't they make up officially in 8F23? We haven't really heard how Herb has been doing for the past 10 years, but he got out of the no-car-business slump at least.
