11/2 - Treehouse of Horror XIX I don't have all of the details yet, except that two of the stories will be a "Transformers" story where the Transformers and Decepticons patch up their differences and go after a new enemy - the Humans, and a version of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" where the Great Pumpkin actually shows up, and he's not particularly happy about what is done to pumpkins at Halloween * note that Treehouse of Horror XVIII airs on 10/19 * "Why is THOH XVIII airing on 10/19 instead of on the same night as THOH XIX?" Well, 11/2 is a Fox NFL doubleheader day, so it can't air episodes nationwide before 8:00. As for why they don't air it at, say, 8:30, (a) in the past, Fox has shown enough support in all four of its Sunday shows not to pre-empt any of them in November, and (b) if they do show two Simpsons episodes that night, since it is two days before election day, I wouldn't be surprised if Fox airs "E Pluribus Wiggum" instead.
