I hear people always talking about Jerkass Homer this and Jerkass Homer that. I want to know what constitutes a Jerkass Homer? Is he a jerk? He is just really annoyingly stupid? What episodes are a good example of Jerkass Homer? Thanks.

Personally, I think Homer was more "Jerkass" in the earlier seasons. For example, in the ep with Mr. Bergstrom, Lisa is crying when Bergstrom leaves and Homer says something like "just because I don't care, doesn't mean I don't understand". That's just downright mean and it's doesn't show off Homer's "dopey, but loving father" character at all. Now of course Homer and Lisa always clash, but it seemed more lighthearted in the later eps.
