The 1919 cartoon "Manhatan Madness" shows Itchy walking along the skyline of NY, one of the buildings appears to be the Empire State Building, but this cannot be possible because it wasn't completed till 1932.

In cartoons, anything is possible, but if you need a rational explanation, the writers of the 1919 cartoon were in contact with Nostradamus.
