Whats the story with every season... I know season 2 is coming out in August... but how long are they going to wait to release the others.. I dont want to wait 10 years to have every episode on DVD... by that time they will be a new video format....

Matt Groening admitted that fact in the Season 1 DVD blurb. Besides, the show hasn't been canned yet: it might still be running in 10 years time!

NEXT SEASON ON THE SIMPSONS:
-Marge gets addicted to percocets.
-Lisa eats meat, and likes it.
-Homer gets a job as a construction worker, with sexy results.
-Bart learns he was switched at birth, but in the very last second it turns out he was just a contestant on a reality show (fans across the internet are pissed off, the idea has already been used).
-Mr Burns starts a baby food company and Maggie becomes the company mascot, she also ends up shooting Mr Burns again.
-Moe is kicked out of his apartment and lives with the Simpsons for the 2nd and 3 minutes of the 3rd act.

-Professor Frink invents a machine that filters out spam-mail and becomes Barts idol.
-Lenny and Carl get in a fight, and Homer becomes the new Carl.
-Jennifer Lopez guest stars as Ned's new girlfriend in which he bangs on the first date, Rod and Todd walk in on the act and runaway to the Simpsons house for the 3rd act.
-Homer flashes back to all the guest stars that said YOINKS during Maggies birthday party.
-Krusty Burger closes down and Homer gets the pimply faced teen a job at the power plant.
-Lisa gets banned from the library.
-Nelson is arrested for assault and battery.
-Homer becomes a lawyer.
-Homer's mom comes back and we learn she married Gary Coleman.
-Patty and Selma fall in love.... with the Fear Factor host (Special Guest, The Fear Factor Host).
-Marge wins a million dollars and hides it from the family.
-SEASON FINALE: Chief Wiggum dies in a freak mountain bike accident, Moe finally kills himself, Barney learns he's a hermafrodite and the whole episode turns out to be Homer imagining these scenerios through a wacky game of madlibs with the family.

I heard that they are going to stop releasing them on DVD after season 3 and are going to release seasons 4 -13 on VCD only in Romania. It's all part of Fox's plan to piss fans off endlessly.
