It is a cool group, except for the occasional rabid political poster, the perverts and trolls. If you can ignore them, there's a lot of fun and info to be had here.

Always politely tease people who ask stupid questions. What are the stupid questions? The ones that get asked over and over again. You will find out soon enough.

Always inject obscure lines from various episodes into your conversation.

Always recount events from your life using humorous events from episodes of the Simpsons where the same thing happened to one of the characters. For example:

"I went to the hospital for a knee operation, and there was a BEAR IN THE LOBBY OF THE HOSPITAL!"

It has even reached the point where certain lines from episodes, are cool to re-use to the point of exhaustion. Such as:

"The internet? Is that thing still around?"

You can even take commonly asked questions and twist them around to make jokes out of them. Such as:

"Is Smithers black? And, in one episode, wasn't he gay?"

Get a cool nickname with Latin lettering while you are at it.

Also, it's cool to make fun of Homer's comments about the movie "Speed", and "The Boys From Brazil". In any context possible. For example:

"I was watching that movie on the History Channel that used to be on HBO. About that 'band of brothers' who were in the Army together. But I can't remember the name of the show."
