Syndication changes?? need help?

Starting september 15th my local station is showing the simpsons only once a say as opposed to a two hour block of it and king of the hill. I emialed the programing lady and she said the simpsons syndication laws changed to only being able to be showns once a day? is that true or did she lie to me?

They are losing an airing of simpsons once a day when there are so many syndicated episodes but keeping king of the hill twice a day when i swear to god every three or four weeks the rpeeats start!

what is up with that?

My station is FOX27 in missouri.

That sounds like a hoax! I live in Denmark, so granted the rules may be way different. But over here our Simpson-channel (called 3+) sends 4 episodes a day. 2 back2back at 7 pm, and then reruns of the b2b from the previous day just before midnight.

Honestly, it's a load of crap. My local affiliate currently shows three episodes a day (down to two starting next week though). Since they won't be dropping another episode in another two weeks, I'd say you were blatantly lied to because I've never heard of state by state syndication laws.

Of course, my affiliate could be breaking the law. The last time they attempted to only show one episode of The Simpsons a day, they got so many complaints that they returned to two episodes within a week. What do you expect when The Simpsons gets replaced for Suddenly Susan though?

I wonder if they aren't pulling in the ratings they used to. More likely, the price has been jacked up.

Yet in my area, they're ADDING an episode.
