Yes! By the way, this could start a whole thread, but I noticed that not only are things cut before syndication starts, but new things fall off.
Example, when Bart wasn't the "I didn't do it kid", i believe that there are 3 scenes when other people say "I didn't do it." 1) Quimby, when he's caught in bed with the other woman by his wife, 2) Apu, when he hits the alarm during the hold-up by Snake, 3) Patty and Selma, when the apartment complex is on fire because of their smoking.
The first time in syndication I believe all 3 were in, but then the Patty and Selma was taken out later.
Can anyone confirm, and have you noticed other examples?

Rack will know...but I'll venture a guess: I think you might be remembering reruns on Fox with the Patty and Selma part, because that part is cut in syndication and I don't think additional cuts are made after they've already entered syndication.

Krusty himself does it during the first season, in "Krusty Gets Busted," saying, "IIIIIIIIIIIIIII didn't do it!!" When I saw it on the DVD, that made me wonder why it was such a big deal that Bart became the "I didn't do it" boy later.
