There's something bugging me about the Frank Grimes episode ( http://www.snpp.com/episodes/4F19 ). It seems to me that this character was too elaborate to be a fictional character. I can't help getting the impression that he is based on a person in real life.
Does anybody agree to my thoughts/have more info on this?

I bet a writer based Grimey on someone whom he/she knew. Who would create a character who lives in a room above a bowling alley and under another bowling alley?
