...Which kicks in at around 9:25. Nothing mentioned in the credits... anyone know the song, or even the artist? Thanks.

BTW... not a bad episode - or at least a substantial improvment over most of the crap they've excreted in recent years.

That would be the Prison Bound Blues. Lots of artists have done it, but I think that's John Lee Hooker in the episode.

Only original songs are mentioned in the credits (mainly because they need to identify the writers for Emmy entering purposes). Occasionally, but not always, they will list the performers of a non-original song, but usually with a credit like "Additional Vocals By".

Good find, thanks for the link. Sounds like I was right, that's John Lee Hooker. The YouTube video says it was recorded in 1949.
