Guest Stars--who would you like to see?

Hi, everyone. I was just wondering, who would you all like to see do a guest voice on The Simpsons? I know a few I'd like to see are: Bruce Springsteen, Heath Ledger (I'm young, go figure ;P), Christopher Walken (as a character, not himself), and Brittany Murphy. Who do you think would be good?

On a side note, does anyone else think there needs to be more episodes about Ralph? Or possibly the Wiggum family in general? Ralph's my fave character and I think it would be funny if there was an episode about a girl having a crush on him...hmm, and maybe it irks Lisa a bit? I dunno...just a thought I had ;P

I don't want to see any guest stars. They are one of the reasons the 'simpsons' has been ruined.

In all seriousness, you are aware that there have been guest stars since day one, right? You'd think you'd be used to them by now.

The new simpsons episodes are so weak and thin. They rely on guest stars to make them good. That is my opinion, anyways. The very best episodes of 'the simpsons' are from season 1 to season 9. It's much more entertaining to hear about their problems in life than to hear about some star visiting springfield and ofcourse ALWAYS meets homer. I don't like season 10 to season 13. They are too superficial. That is just my opinion, though.

Hey, Andy Griffith... or him and Don Knotts as, um, Shelbyville police chief and deputy. Make the plot sort of a take off on the old Andy Griffith show with plenty of Matlock-isms. If someone came from Shelbyville, and then died in the first act, then a Murder She Wrote/Matlock type plot unfolded? The crazy Texan a required suspect.

Nope, though I did have to double-check. Both in their 70s, but life expectancy has never been a criteria for being a guest star. Witness Jack Lemmon, the Ramones (50% deceased)...

On a related note, who did the voice of Barney Fife in that episode with Charles Bronson taking over for Andy Griffith on The Andy Griffith Show? He did a good job, whoever it was. I believe it was the episode with Shary Bobbins.
