Skinner replies, "Your metabolism will change someday too, young man."
What? What does metabolism have to do with scratching your butt?

you see, as one metabolism slows down they have to find other forms of exercise to burn calories, such as scratching their butts.

PS- that or maybe it has something to do with skinner gaining weight from his slowing metabolism, which bart was commenting on in the first place.
