The Boys From Brazil is a 1970's film about a top secret project involving the cloning of Adolf Hitler. The film starred Laurence Olivier, who received an Oscar nomination for the film.

The Brazilian boy's problem of not knowing which state Springfield is in, as well as Lisa's comments about all these clues appearing, refers to the endless thread of where Springfield is and all the clues that either point to one region or eliminate certain states.

Speaking of the Stonecutters... I checked the episode capsule on snpp.com (holy cow, that site has changed in the last 24 hours...) and it doesn't seem to be mentioned.

For the first time ever, I was forced to watch parts of the movie The Ten Commandments and there is a group of people in that movie called the Stonecutters. I didn't watch nearly enough to know anything about them, but it is most definitely a reference and looks like it may have been missed...

Of course, I'm probably wrong about the ref being missed, but I thought I would bring it up anyway.

Actually, it does get here sooner. Here in the Eastern Time Zone, the show has consistenly been starting at some time between 7:59:15 and 7:59:25. I know because on two occasions I missed the opening, and have since been keeping track of the show start time with a clock which automatically synchronizes itself to the atomic clock in Ft. Collins, CO.
