i think the punchline is "Makes you think." the number four is not specifically significant.

I feel this last comment is the closest to correct, the rest are looking for something that isn't there. I think that the writers meant to make a point about goofy things like "the face on Mars" i.e. "that mountain on Mars looks like a human face, makes you think."
