Marge and Homer's age?

Homer age is either 38 or 36, and Marge is officially 34? But in the 2nd season The Way We Was, they were both seniors in high school, making them roughly the same age?

1980 makes sense, since he was a 10 year old boy when the show started in 1990... unless you consider the pilot to be the origin, in that case, he was born in 1979.

The episode aired in 1995: the events foreseen by the fortune teller will (she claims) takes place in 2010. The Otto Cab Co. (as seen in the fortune teller's vision) was founded in 2003. And we'll have saved your asses in World War Three some time before 2010 :-)
