Are there any references in the Simpsons to the guys from the Rice Krispies commercials, Snap, Crackle and Pop?

It's the episode where the Simpsons go away to a beach house for the
weekend, & Lisa decides to transform herself into a new, cooler person. She
gets new clothes (Millhouse: Lisa looks like Blossom!). Christina Ricci is
the guest star who plays one of Lisa's new "cool" friends, Erin.
I can't remember it word for word, but..Lisa, Erin and the other cool kids
are in the living room of the beach house.
Erin:  It's cool that your parents leave us alone. If
         we were at my house my Mom would be busting in
         with Tang and rice krispie treats about now.
As she is saying it Marge enters the room and immediately turns around, out
of their view, holding a tray with a pitcher of Tang and rice krispie treats
on it.

Not that my opinion matters either, but I TOO believe I saw Snap,Kracle & Pop on the Simpson's as well. Since I've never even _watched_ Family Guy or even Futurama for that matter, I know I haven't gotten my shows confused. I'm thinking it might have been in one of the 'drug induced' looking scenes like the one where Lisa drinks the ride water at DuffLand or when Bart and Millhouse O.D. on Squishees. OR maybe it was the one where all the advertising characters came to life in a Treehouse of Horror ep.? Anyway, _I_ don't think the OP crazy.(-:

All I can remember is that: there is a scene where some faces/"3 ghosts"(?) MELT. The faces, while melting, were similar looking to the famous painting "Scream" as they glooped to the floor...Possibly this took place in some kind of fantasy sequence. Maybe the Rice Krispies exist in that sequence.

The other key characteristic was that the artwork and the bizarre excecution of the whole episode was very uncharacteristic of a Simpsons episode - more like the look of a cheap Saturday morning cartoon.

Hmmmm... It looks like you may just have to research this the old-fashioned way. Go through your old tapes and watch until you find what you are looking for. If you didn't copy all 300+ episodes, then find someone who has and borrow their collection.
