There was a certain episode in which Homer gives Bart a little device which hurls insults at the touch of a button. Can anyone please tell me what episode it was?

[8F12] Lisa The Greek - The superbowl one (where Homer discovers that Lisa can call football games, and makes a bunch of money gambling. That's how he buys the insult device).

Yes, it does. In fact, this episode was the whole reason the Simpsons was banned from my house. My mom told me to do something, and I said, "Go to Hell." LOL...come on now...I was only 5 or so...
