Not only the worst Simpsons episode to date, but the worst episode of ANY show in the last ten years! The show was so unfunny it actually sucked humor out of the room. If there had been a comedian present, he probably would have imploded. On top of the below-zero humor content, the story was very predictable and trite. I've seen better stories in tampon commercials.
That's my rant. Your mileage, of course, may vary.
I am pretty sure you were watching "Team Homer", and not the recent new episode. According to http://www.snpp.com/episodes/3F10.html, the last word on everything that sucks:
Homer: [on phone] Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night.
They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but
they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.Once in a Three Stooges episode, Curley said "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try until you do succeed." Moe (to Curley): "What are you doing?" Curley (eating grapefruit): "I'm sucking seed."
