It reminded me of the way children write stories...all this wacky stuff happens and then the ending is like "and then I woke up and discovered it was all a dream." In many recent eps, the writers have copped out on the ending while acknowledging that they are doing it. But you know what? It doesn't make it right.

As it was, I was already really annoyed with the show's recent tendencies to resort to fart jokes, but this is the most ridiculous one yet. What the hell is a "Fart Date?"

One can only assume that it is an attempt at humor based on the strange reality programming that Fox has aired in recent years. Celebrity Boxing, Who Wants To Marry a Millionaire, etc. I agree that it was a stupid ending and that this "joke" was a flop. Overall, I'd say the episode gets a D+ or C- as I was disappointed but I didn't hate it as some other posters have and I wouldn't call it the "worst ever".

All too often all we are left with are throwaway jokes. That's one of the problems with the show now. <sigh>

I've seen those dumbass shows where people go on dates. Adam Carola hosts one of those shows, and that woman from "Talk Soup" hosts the other one. Calling the spoof show "Fart Date" is a great idea!
