Do you think there is some connection there? What is the significance of both of their names appearing on the same newsgroup? What do you think the Kiner reference means? I think Xino Kiner might be Darren Hayes.....anyone else have any thoughts on this?

This is an odd debate; language can be both inductive and deductive when bringing a reference guide into the mix. Personally I think language needs to have rules--"anyways" is an annoying bit of slang (one of my biggest pet peeves, actually) that I think needs to go--but it's used so much, saying it is common and acceptable, though by no means proper.

It doesn't help that English is spoken in many culture throughout the world. So it is natural that dialects would clash on a global network. So who knows, maybe "anyways" is okay in Australia. It is not in Wisconsin.
