shameful admission

since I dont want to do my homework right now, I will make a shameful admission...

I saw the Party Possie Ep of the Simpsons last night (New Kids on the Blecch) and I really thought that was a funny episode. I dont know why, but I think if the show is going to do a WAY OUT THERE episode, then at least make it funny. I feel so shameful laughing at a giant praying mantis with hippies on it, but hell, it was damn funny. Obviously not as funny as Last Exit to Springfield or Marge gets a Job, but still funny... Man I am so embarassed...

You're ALLOWED to like Simpsons episodes you know. Why would anyone want to hate an episode?

who cares the only thing bad about that episode was that nsync was apart of it i thought it was damn funny besides that

because the first time I saw the episode I thought it was just awful... A terrible, shameful, 22 minute commercial for N' Sync. It seemed like the whole episode was an excuse to get NSync to get on the show, to which of course they obliged. That is all. There are much worse episodes from season 12 now that I look back on them.

i find episodes get much better on a second, third, fourth viewing sometimes too. i was really disappointed with that one when i first saw it, but after some time and repeat viewings, i really like it too. i also think it pokes quite a bit of fun at nsync, like how they can't not dance when they walk and repeart the same stupid jargon over and over ("kickin' it old school" etc). and this friend of mine was convinced "Simpson Tide" was the worst episode ever and the final nail in the coffin for the series and i agreed for a little while, but now i finally realize that's an awesome episode. the earring fixing the hole in the sub is a stretch, but so what. i love seasons 11, 12 and 13 so far and am not embarassed to admit it! of course i love the glory days too, but to quote my favorite rock star after a much anticipated new album came out to bad reviews: "if you can't ride the differing tides, stay on the shore."

No one seems to mention here that LT Smash blew up MAD Magazine with a missile launched from a stolen aircraft carrier with children onboard. No, no, this episode never happened. Worst ever. As much as I don't like non-sensical endings, I can tolerate them with a little grumbling, but I hated this one, and I still do.
