Did anyone else notice the Christmas music at the end of the episode was from Emerson Lake and Palmer's "I Believe in Father Christmas"?

Well, no, but that music from Greg Lake was actually a part of a work by Sergei Prokofiev. Specifically the "Troika" section from the Lt. Kiji Suite. Lake sampled it (or rather borrowed it, since he did it before the word "sampling" was used :)) when he wrote his Father Christmas song.

I'd say it's more like Greg Lake reused the tune. "Sampling" at least to me, suggests sampling a recording, which of course does generally carry copyright issues.

Wouldn't the Russian music be out of copyright by now?
