Homer imagines this bear, who usually dresses in a slicker and a rain hat, coming to menace him along with the gummi bears and the Intensive Care Bear.

• Care Bears (children's toys, cartoon, etc.)

The Intensive Care Bear looks like the Care Bear characters from the 1980s (reissued in the 2000's); specifically, its tummy symbol looks like that of Tenderheart Bear.

Animation, Continuity and Other Errors

- Homer asks "Why does a bear need a crowbar?" but the Intensive Care Bear is carrying a tire iron.

During the bathside bear attack, didn't Homer lose his shoes? (His right, at least.)
