I honestly thought this episode was pretty good. It wasn't too surreal or Homer-centric. Nor did it have a worthless sub-plot just to fill in time. Finally, the celebrity guest voice was used in a worthwhile fashion. THis episode wasn't exactly the Simpsons of old, but it was a start in a good direction. If the rest of the season keeps up this quality, this season will be the best in the last two or three years. I already see signs that this won't last with nest weeks episode. Oh well, I'll keep watching, bad Simpsons is still way better than most of the stuff on tv.
