GOOD NEWS: new simspons newsgroup is up!!!!

ATTENTION this post is to notify A.T.S. that alt.tv.simpsons.sauk is now available.

Basically, alt.tv.simpsons.sauk will be the same as a.t.s. but there will be a higher lever of community and knowledge sharing and fun. Also, posts such as rob wade's will NOT be tolerated, as well as other flaming posts.

This is how the transition will occur: Beginning immediately all regular posters to a.t.s. will begin cross-posting to a.t.s.s. after a period of approximately four months, after alt.tv.simpsons.sauk has achieved the reputation of being the premier simpsons group, then all posts to a.t.s. will cease and all simpsons discussions will take place at alt.tv.simpsons.sauk.

Hi peaceful Jerry,

I'm sad to say I don't like your proposal for a new group.

The first reason is that I don't like the name of the newsgroup. Why the hell would one post at alt.tv.simpsons.sauk when they can just as easily continue to post at alt.tv.simpsons.

My other reason is that once a group has its user base, it's hard to switch, especially when no reason is presented to would neccessitate such a group creation.

I don't believe I'll be crossposting anything to that group, especially considering my ISP and many others will not carry it for a while.
