Has anyone out there noticed how there seems to be some references to the Wizard of Oz in various episodes over the years. I'm thinking there has been about 4 to 5 can anybody add their thoughts on this and tell me if there has been anymore.

Just take the movie reference list on SNPP and search for the title and you�ll get lots of references. The first Oz reference is the title of 7G04 "There�s no Disgrace Like Home" and then there are much more, I�d say at least between 15 and 20 different references.
However, I think some of them are cut in US syndication, like Monty Burns and his flying monkeys ("Fly, my pretties, Fly") in 1F07 "The Last Temptation of Homer".

"The Curse of the Flying Hellfish" -Grampa waking up simialr to Dorothy waking up from dream.
"Lisa's Rival" -When the sugar melts
