At first I thought it was one of the actually promos for Joe Millionaire, despite it is over, I don't pay much attention to crappy 'so called' reality shows, anyways, and then Homer eats it! Awkward, but still really funny, "mmmm promo"! heheh! Just like when he eats the plastic bride and groom, another unedible object, mmmm pointy!
I figured I'd post this as a new topic, instead of putting it in the 'Fox news joke too long', which I didn't think so....

Realit shows suck, but they're such an easy target of ridicule that it isn't even worth ridiculing them anymore. The Simpsons should be above that. Next they're gonna be making fun of Anna Nicole Smith. Whoa, slow down there, how they ever think of that one?

No, not Fox jokes, or at least I don't think so. He mentions in the commentary of the second season dvd's that he doesn't like the type of humor that would characterize a cartoon. The scene playing while he said that was the catfish general sherman episode, where the fish winks at the camera. He likes it a lot better when animals act like animals, and characters aren't aware of a camera on them.

Good point. If it seems like something Matt Groening would hate, then certainly you should hate it. Although, I once heard Matt Groening really likes irreverent humor that targets conventional thinking and popular culture. Now I have no idea what to think.
