Just saw this movie for the first time tonight, and I remembered a pretty obvious reference to it in the Simpsons. I couldnt' find it on SNPP.com in the movie references list. At the end of the movie, when the chief threw the the thing from the shower room out the window and ran off into the distance. The same thing happened in an episode of the Simpsons, except in the Simpsons after he jumped out the window he threw something back in a different window because he forgot something, then jumped back out and ran off into the distance. What episode was that?

I think it was the episode where Bart had to volunteer at the nursing home and he took all the senior citizens on a boat trip. The Indian was at the nursing home to drop off some kind of pamphlet for a gambling law. He then broke a window and left. A few minutes later he returned to get his hat, tore the sink out of the wall (ala Cuckoo's Nest), threw it through the window and walked off.

There is also the Simpsons clip show / April Fool's Day episode where Homer is hospitalized and afraid of beer and Barney says "I can't stand to see him like this" then Barney smothers him then picks up a large sink throws it through the window and runs off. To which Moe comments, "He really needs a girlfriend."

Also in 'Stark Raving Dad', (you know the one with the big white Michael Jackson?) the mental hospital where Homer is sent is the same hospital from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Nurse Ratched, the Chief, and Mr. Harding were there, and they did the group therapy session. Wasn't the room where Homer and the Michael Jackson guy the same room where Billy goes with the hooker in the movie?
