So, okay, let me get this straight. The reason the show isn't as good as it used to be, is because after twelve years, it's hard to come up with new storylines.

Yet they insist on using three or four different plots every episode. (Case in point, "Blame It On Lisa," which knocked "The Simpsons adopt a foreign kid," "The Simpsons go to Brazil," and "The Simpsons are kidnapped," off the list. Granted, the plots flowed into each other much more easily than usual, and it was a pretty funny episode.)

You'd think that if it's so agonizing to think of new plots, when they come up with a good one they'd want to stick to it for awhile. I'm not even gonna mention the thirty-second Toronto segment.

There was an episode earlier this season that was a total ripoff of an episode from years ago. We discussed it in depth! I can't remember which one, though.

And this was at least the 2nd time OFF went on an intercontinental journey because of a misunderstanding over a phone call!

And don't forget Lisa's big phone bill when she called the Corey hotline!

And, most important of all, don't forget the time that OFF was all gathered around the TV and they started complaining about how the show they were watching was recycling old plots! And just then Smithers walked into the room, said "Maggie shot Mr. Burns, again!", and walked out of the room!
