newbie: Worst Episode Ever

I recently saw a repeat episode where the simpsons take care of a horse I believe they named him ferocious D, and race him to raise money for the animal's expenses. Anyway in that episode the comicbook guy makes a couple of appearances, In one appearance he mentions that the family had already had a horse... and at another appearance he is seen wearing a shirt with 'Worst Episode Ever' written on it.

It sure was, although a.t.s isn't the only group to use it. "Worst episode ever" pops up elsewhere - I think CBG first said it in The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show, and his season 12 heart attack episode was called that (as well as the medical term for it - episode - so he said that then).

Snuh is Springfieldians for Nonviolence, Understanding, and Helping. It's from 7F09, Itchy & Scratchy & Marge.

As for "Worst Episode Ever", it's actually a take-off on Comic Book Guy's penchant for saying "Worst [blank] ever". As an example, in "Homer to the Max", CBG asks Homer to do one of his namesake's taglines from "Police Cops" for CBG's answering maching. Homer tonelessly says "Uh-oh, Spaghettios", whereupon CBG replies "Worst reading ever".

I don't personally find them annoying and 100+ lines of text don't cause connectivity slowdowns, but I digress...

"Snuh" has been used a number of times other than when Marge formed S.N.U.H.

Homer says it in response to Marge asking him if he's going to buy Lisa a pony (referenced in a few posts in a current thread).

In the retro-Radioactive Man flashback that the movie director has, "snuh" is one of the punch-sounds spelled on screen a la Batman TV series.

There are a few other uses of snuh in the Simpsons that escape me at the moment, but the point is, it's not a coincidence.

I do agree, though, that there is a lot of interesting stuff at snpp.com...
