Early on, it seemed to be the Winfields - they moved out in 9F06 for the Powerses to move in (I assume they're still there, or in Springfield at least, since Ruth appeared this season) - I can't think offhand of anyone else specifically featured over there, but I await everyone else's corrections.

On the other side, Ruth Powers probably lives there. She was on the "Strong Arms of the Ma" episode this season, but it didn't say that she still lived next door to the Simpson family. We can only presume that she still does.

We discussed this in other postings. Across the street was President Bush (the elder), President Ford, and an open field for Marge to drive the Canyonero through. And behind the house is the SNPP parking lot. And right down the street is Moe's.

Wait a minute! Moe's is on Walnut Street. The Simpsons live on Evergreen Terrace! But in one episode, Homer walked down the street, and he was at Moe's!
