No. The Josh Weinstein of the Bill Oakley & Josh Weinstein writing team isn't the same Josh Weinstein from MST3K.

We're here with "Simpsons" Executive Producers Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein. They have been writing comedy together for fifteen years. Their career began at their Washington D.C. high school (St. Albans) where they founded and edited a humor magazine called the "Alban Antic." Bill served as vice-president of the "Harvard Lampoon," and Josh was president of the Stanford humor magazine, the "Stanford Chaparral." After college, Bill and Josh wrote for "Spy," "National Lampoon," and "America's Most Wanted" before moving to Los Angeles. In 1992, they began writing for "The Simpsons" and have since written twelve episodes, including "Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy," "Sideshow Bob Roberts," and "Who Shot Mr. Burns?". They are currently executive producing the show's seventh season.

In addition, the Josh Weinstein of MST3K now goes by J. Elvis Weinstein. He was involved in my second-favorite show of all time, Freaks and Geeks, and is currently involved in one of my favorite shows, Dead Last.
