Just saw paint your wagon, disappointed

I think I was misled by the episode with Paint Your Wagon in it. It's nothing like it is on the Simpsons. The paint your wagon on the Simpsons was far better.

I just saw "Saving Irene Ryan", and that was disappointing, too.

Oil based, paint, Ponderosa Pine wood! Did Lee Marvin do marvelous splits? Was there a lot of fruity singing?

So you watched some movie about some guys who painted a wagon, and you remembered the name of the movie? That's a new one. Why don't you watch "The Bus That Wouldn't Slow Down", or that movie about those boys from Brazil, who were all clones of Hitler!

Is this the only episode of "the Simpsons" that you've ever seen? Haven't you ever noticed that the show is a SATIRE?

And for the record, most people were disappointed in "Paint Your Wagon" Hard to believe that the same writer and composer that created "Gigi" "Brigadoon" "My Fair Lady" and "Camalot" also created it. Oh well, you can't be sucessful all the time. At least it has that beautiful "Mariah" song.
