The Simpsons to Announce Hiatus
This Sunday's episode of The Simpsons will include a major development involving the future of the show. Guest stars Phish will announce that the program will go on hiatus following this season. The decision was made when Fox executives realized that the show hit its creative peak in the mid 90s and has now lost its spark. Sources say Lisa Simpson plans to spend her time away from the show working with the Springfield Youth Orchestra.
