Teenage Homer and Marge (or how they'd look as teens in 2004)

why does homer have a mid to late nineties hairdo and beard, yet marge is clearly from the sixties (and possibly ABBA)?

I don't think it looks at all like Homer or Marge. It looks more like some sort of error message:

      The page cannot be displayed
