Stan Smith being wanted for "plagirism of plagirism" is a crack at how some people believe that Seth MacFarlane has basically copied the same formula that he used in Family Guy for his most recent show, American Dad. An American Dad's defense, there is one big difference between these two shows: while most of American Dad's humor at the moment appears to be more plot and character-related, Family Guy's humor relies more on cultural references (which is also used in American Dad, but not in the huge amount that Family Guy uses), recurring "one joke" characters (i.e. the evil monkey that lives in Chris' closet), and cut-away jokes.
