Ok, I hope this doesn't sound too stupid In the episode where Homer changes his name to Max Power, at one point Lisa says that in cartoon shows you can change and get rid of characters without any problem and there are a few characters going out the window. Who are they?

Didn't someone post earlier that there's a monkey/chimp/ape reference in every Simpsons? Someone was saying the writers check the script and if it's not in there, they write it in. Of course, I don't know how reliable this person was, I can't remember who posted it.

A co-worker of mine once told me that every good movie (and by extention, every tv show) contains either monkeys or midgets, and every GREAT movie contain both. (The Wizard of OZ, Who framed Roger Rabbit) On the DVD of American Pie, if you listen to the directors commentary, he says the same thing (just the monkey part, not the midgets), so there it is, a back up for that theory from an acuall professional film maker
