Concern about voice actors

As the show is likely to go as far as Season 15, how do you guys think the voice actors will hold up? Julie Kavier and Harry Shearer are in their 50s, of course Marge has a coarse sounding voice anyway. Who I would be concerned about the most is Nancy Cartwright. In a recent Butterfinger commercial, Bart's voice sounded kind of scratchy.

Our voices do change as we grow older and the ability to do certain voices might be lost. Could this be of any effect to the show, or after the show when movies emerge?

I can think of many such examples of voice actors loosing there abilities... The Sailor Moon cast did an awful job on the movies (one of which will be on Cartoon Network today, Nov 11, at 5:30), not that they were that great before but at least they were consistant. Many people had the impression that the voices were recast just because of the horrible job they did. After this many of the actors and actresses chose to leave the show for various reasons and were replaced with even worse actors. Pokemon, OTOH, has excellent VAs imo with many of them doing several characters similar to the Simpsons cast (Misty and Jesse are done by the same woman, Brock and James, etc) and throughout rushed episodes have remained stable. The Simpsons cast has held up well throughout an incredibly long run. It's really hard to tell what they evolve to. I really don't fear the change of approach by each vocal performers as much as I would the replacement of any major cast member. If anyone major cast member were to leave we'd both loose many characters and suffer through bad imitations (such as with Maude)

Nancy's voice may be changing, but June Foray is in her 70's and she's still doing fine. She doesn't sound exactly the same, but after 40 years or more, that's not too bad. When she guested on the Simpsons in season 1, she sounded exactly like she did in the old Jay Ward/Looney Tunes days.

Does anyone know offhand if she ever did any voice work for the Simpsons after the babysitter episode from season 1?

She reprised her role as Rocket J. Squirrel in last year's Rocky and Bullwinkle movie (yes, I was one of the seven people who saw it) and she sounded just fine.
