I've noticed that there are no George W. Bush jokes on The Simpsons... What's the story, like?
The other US presidents have been mocked - Bill Clinton, George Bush senior, . Makes you wonder who's calling the shots.
Of course I've missed quite a few of the newer episodes so maybe I'm wrong.

This is Al Jean's decision. He's apparently a decidedly right-wing jackass, as revealed on the DVD audio commentary for "Marge In Chains." His excuse for not ever parodying Dubya? Paraphrased: "Well, the American public has never decided on a single image of him. It keeps changing." Obviously this is bullshit. He also *hates* Jimmy Carter.
