How I love these uncut Comedy Network airings. Tonight it was "Homer Defined", and it had the original network version, with Mr. Burns saying "I guess there's nothing left but to kiss my sorry ass goodbye", and Bart's "Bad influence my butt!". "Ass" and "Butt" were reversed originally, and in the syndicated version.

Yes...so what you have is, oddly, the edited network version (which I pray doesn't show up on season 3 DVDs, except as a brief pause-in-the-commentary-track-so-you-can-hear-either-way) - the _original_ and (if you could say) uncut versions have Bart saying ass and Burns saying butt.
