In the episode where Bart and Milhouse go to see the Spinal Tap concert, Homer waits in the car and listens to the radio. One of the songs he listens to is The Spanish Flea, but there is another song that he listens to (either later on in the episode or when he has the flashback).
We hear the part where it's guitar playing and Homer sings Da da da , da da da, da da da, da da da...
Does anyone know the name of this song? I think its from the 70s.

There are many versions of "Summer Samba," but the piece was written by Marcos Valle. Go to http://www.bjbear71.com/Wanderley/main5.html and scroll down to the track listing of "The Fantastic Walter Wanderley, Boss of the Bossa Nova" 2 CD set and see whose names are listed under "Summer Samba." I don't remember which version is the one that appeared in "The Simpsons," though, whether it was Wanderley's, Valle's, or someone else's (e.g. I have a cover by the Norwegian (!) group "Trio de Janeiro").
