S3 DVD at last!

OK - so I don't actually have it yet, but I've ordered it.

Now - what about S4?

S03 DVD - mine was dispatched today. Yipeee!

Got mine at blockbusters a few days ago, saw it in the delivery box and begged the woman to sell it me.

Have got past the first disc now, very good, nice to hear the actors on the commentarys too.

I got mine over a month ago from dvdsoon.com - It's a Canadian site so your player needs to be multiregion but the currency conversion was under �20 - Not bad for half the normal price and to have it so soon as well.

The extra's are a bit disappointing though but as usual, it's the commentaries that are the best bit about the dvd's

Watched everything up to Colonel Homer so far, and here's some random thoughts about it:

-Is it me, or do all the episodes have a slight sync problem? When someone says something the sound appears to come a split second before the mouth starts moving. Is that just an indication on how the show has come, and the sharpness of DVD shows it up more than my old video copies? -Homer Defined appears to have the '...kiss my sorry ass goodbye' and 'Bad influence my butt!' lines, rather than the other way round. In fact, it's like that on the storyboard too. -Only the third disk seems to do that number thing on the main menu. If I try entering '742' on Disk 4 it takes me to the Special Features menu immediately after pressing 4...the '4'th option on the menu.

I found that when entering the easter egg codes, I have to do it in a certain rhythm...enter the 7, then as soon as the menu resets, hit 4, etc...

Yep, got it Monday, have watched the Jukebox and Thanksgiving parade, and have looked at the storyboards. I've also watched all the eps, commentaries and scene-specific sketches up to Colonel Homer.. all that's left after the remaining five eps with commentaries are the bonus commentaries and easter eggs unfortunately :(. Ah well.
