Ahh, kind of a medium episode - could have been worse. Nice that the whole Jersey Shore setpiece was only a small fraction of it, since it was funny enough but would have gotten tiresome. The Selma-marriage- that-doesn't-work-out plot is well-visited by now and this version was OK. Bart and Lisa's truffle subplot... it wasn't bad, and I have to give points for originality (especially with the reasoning behind the twist) - just very very short. I'd probably enjoy this more on a repeat viewing - many of the individual jokes were good, and not really defying logic (I particularly liked Homer's interactions with Tony before they got to the shore house).
DYN: ...Triangle Wars back in the arcade? ...Bart says banana Runts are the worst? I actually enjoy them the most. ...when post-surgery Selma is first seen, she looks a lot like Marge with Selma's hair? (Not a surprise - but the wider eye shape and larger bust/smaller waist compared to Marge seemed less obvious.) ...Patty herself doesn't show up until act 2 (and Bart and Lisa disappear after act 3)? ...the marquee at the hotel bills the wedding as a "suspiciously lavish affair" - the "affair" part sure seems accurate now? ...Otto's copy of Koyaanisqatsi uses a real image of the DVD cover (including the MGM banner at the top)? (That doesn't have a commentary with Philip Glass, but it does feature an interview with him; besides, he was on the shrooms by then.)
