Hello all, my and a new friend of mine are having an argument. We cant seem to decide on Homers age, I think it is 36, and he thinks it is 38, and this other wacko is saying its 39.1. What is it really, please respond ASAP

As of 2001, he is 45 (give or take a year.) He graduated high school in '74, which put his age then to be 18.

as usual the writers choose to ignore accuracy or they just like to confuse us obssessives...Homer's age has been quote in several episodes and was different every time.
The stupid thing is that he looks more like 50...still, at least he is actually supposedly ageing unlike the women of the family...

he is 36 1/2 there is the episode where homer wants to be an inventer. ther he complains that he wasted half of his life.
