Just to further disgust all of the morons that did not like last night's episode, I've now (Monday at 7:00pm) watched it 3 times!

Last night's double-feature of "Strong Arm of the Ma" and "Large Marge" are proof that "The Simpsons" is getting dangerously close to "Family Guy" territory. That's not to say it's nearly as bad as "Family Guy" was (although last night *was* bad by "Simpsons" standards) it's just that any similarity to "Family Guy", regardless of the proximity, is dangerous comedy-wise. -------------------------------- "That's the worst reverse-acting I've ever seen!" -Sam Raimi

I loved Family Guy, it was more crude but the humor and satire was there. Rip off or not, I found it entertaining and thats what TV is all about in my book

"Family Guy" did that type of comedy well but with "The Simpsons" it seems forced, and generally Simpsons fans expect more sophistication.

Well, if an opinion is thought out either for, or against the current episodes with civility, then fine. But if the only thing people say is they think the current show sux/roolz without any other verbage, then it's a waste of a post.

I would even go so far as to say that those of us who hate the phenomenon of shows that stay to long, like Simpsons, love even more than the others. The last couple or three years is ersatz Simpsons, knock off Simpsons, and the devotees who blindly love them no matter what are the ones to watch out for.
